Piece starts off of natural materials. In the installation, we see a hardwood table signifying a continuation of the ready-made tradition. On top of the table, rocks gathered from the wild and painted are integrated into the work. Amorfia could be construed as an urban study. The piece involves the construction of a hill, not unlike Istanbul. However, this hill is built with an artistic vision, and the rocks may be perceived as skyscrapers. Therefore, the way the rocks are presented are associated with a presentation of Istanbul. In this context, you can see that the city is presented with many qualities, but with insight, it also reveals an urban texture comprised of diversely different forms.
